Art Without Walls was incorporated in the State of New York in 1985 as an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization. Our range of programs and services has grown over the years, and our contribution to advancement of the arts is now widely recognized. We enjoy an excellent reputation for providing a valuable service throughout New York State, the greater metropolitan New York City area, and many Long Island, NY communities.

"Art Without Walls" is a concept and a commitment, not just a name. We are dedicated to fostering the arts and improving people's lives. Our mission is to stimulate natural creativity, broaden cultural awareness,

provide appreciation and understanding of the visual arts and fine art history, bring caring to the ill and disabled, and encourage the current and future development of the arts.

Art Without Walls, Inc. programs are specifically designed to fill a need for creative expression. Our services aid in the advancement of new and emerging art. We help professional artists, both nationally and internationally with innovative events and exhibitions. For students, exposure to art education has been shown to improve academic performance, and some are inspired to pursue careers in the arts. For the seriously ill, creative therapy can bring hope, quality of life, and may even enhance healing. Art Without Walls, Inc. has received numerous awards and recognition for outstanding contribution to the arts.
